A Collection of Antique and Vintage Engraved Shell Buttons - A collection of engraved shell buttons featuring a variety of materials including mother-of-pearl and abalone. The assortment showcases diverse carved designs such as floral and foliate motifs, geometric starbursts, and figural depictions including a bird and a horse with a rider. The buttons display a range of natural and iridescent colors including silver, grey, blue, and purple. One specimen features painted floral accents around a central four-hole configuration. The collection consists of primarily circular sew-through styles with varying diameters and hole arrangements. Diameters range from approximately 0.5 inches to 1.25 inches. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
