Framed Modern Reproduction Print of United States Colored Troops Civil War Soldiers - This lot features a framed modern reproduction of a historical Civil War era photograph depicting a company of the United States Colored Troops (USCT). The image shows a line of African American Union soldiers standing in front of a simple wooden barracks building. The soldiers are dressed in standard Union Army infantry uniforms, including forage caps and frock or sack coats, and are holding rifled muskets. The figure on the far left appears to be a sergeant or officer, indicated by a waist belt and sword. The caption U.S. NEGRO TROOPS is printed in the center of the lower margin. The print is housed in a wooden frame with a gold-painted inner border and a black mat. The reverse side has a cardboard backing secured with small nails and a small yellow inventory sticker reading H001 0204.
