McCoy Pottery Black Americana Mammy Ceramic Cookie Jar - This two-piece glazed earthenware cookie jar is a product of the McCoy Pottery Company of Roseville, Ohio. The figural jar depicts a female figure in the Black Americana Mammy style, where the torso and head function as the lid and the flared skirt serves as the base. The decoration consists of a yellow dress with a white apron adorned with hand-painted red and green floral sprays. The figure wears a white headscarf decorated with yellow polka dots. The underside of the base features a large incised McCoy factory mark. Height: Approximately 11 inches. Pickup is Wednesday, April 22 from 10 am to 3 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
