McCoy Aunt Jemima Mammy Figural Ceramic Cookie Jar - This McCoy Pottery figural cookie jar is a mid-20th century piece identified as the Aunt Jemima or Mammy pattern. The item is a two-piece assembly made of glazed earthenware. The base is shaped as a wide, fluted skirt featuring the word Cookies in black script across the front. The lid forms the upper torso and head of the figure. The underside of the base contains a large incised McCoy maker mark. The jar is finished in a cream-colored glaze with overglaze red and black painted accents. Height: 10.25 inches. Pickup is Wednesday, April 22 from 10 am to 3 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
