Antique Bisque Porcelain Egg Baby Figurine - This small novelty figurine is crafted from unglazed bisque porcelain. The piece features a whimsical design of a child with dark brown skin emerging from a cream-colored cracked egg. On one side, the child's head and a single hand are visible through the shell, while the rounded backside is depicted on the opposite side. The shell surface is detailed with incised radiating lines to simulate cracks. The figure is decorated with dark brown cold paint, with simple black and white painted eyes. No maker's marks, factory stamps, or model numbers are present on the item. The style is consistent with late 19th or early 20th-century egg baby novelties produced in Europe or Japan. 1.75 inches in length.
