Two Cast Iron Black Americana Decorative Items Including a Sadzik Praha Ashtray and a Mammy Still Bank - This lot consists of two hand-painted cast iron items. The first is a figural still bank depicting a woman in a red dress with a white apron and bonnet, a form commonly identified in the collector market as a Mammy bank. The figure is constructed of two cast sections joined by a single Phillips-head screw at the rear, with a coin slot located on the upper back. The second item is a figural ashtray featuring an octagonal black-painted base with a recessed well and two cigarette rests. A signpost rises from a green-painted base at the rear, topped with a rectangular frame. A figure wearing gold-toned hoop earrings and a yellow ruffled skirt is depicted climbing the post. The green base of the signpost is embossed with the maker mark SADZIK PRAHA. Both items feature cold-painted finishes over cast iron.
