Antique Cast Iron Mulligan the Policeman Still Bank - This still bank is cast in the form of a standing police officer, a figure commonly identified in the collector market as Mulligan. The piece is attributed to the A.C. Williams Company of Ravenna, Ohio, dating to the early 20th century. It is constructed of two hollow-cast iron halves joined by a single flat-head screw on the reverse. The officer is depicted in a formal double-breasted uniform with molded buttons, a belt, and a star-shaped badge on the left breast. He wears a high-crowned hat and has his hands positioned on his hips. A horizontal coin slot is located on the upper back between the shoulders. The base of the feet is open to the hollow interior. There are no manufacturer marks or alphanumeric codes visible on the exterior or interior surfaces. Height: 5 1/2 inches.
