Antique A.C. Williams Sharecropper Black Americana Still Bank - This cast iron still bank is attributed to A.C. Williams and depicts a standing figure in a hat and work clothes, a design commonly identified in the trade as the Sharecropper or Give Me a Penny bank. The item is constructed from two cast halves secured by a single original flat-head screw located on the reverse. A vertical coin slot is positioned on the upper back of the figure. The bank features a cold-painted finish with a blue shirt, black trousers, black hat, and red lips over brown skin tones. No manufacturer marks, letters, or numbers are present on the exterior or the undersides of the feet. Height: 5.5 inches. Pickup is Wednesday, April 22 from 10 am to 3 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
