Bidspirit auction | Dinah Mechanical Bank
Dinah Mechanical Bank - This Dinah mechanical bank is a cast iron bust attributed to the design of John Harper and Company or Shepard Hardware Company. The model name DINAH is embossed in a raised rectangular frame on the back of the figure. The item is constructed of cast iron and features a hand-to-mouth lever-action mechanism. A lever located on the back of the right shoulder raises the figure's right hand to its mouth when depressed. The figure is depicted with a yellow garment, a dark necklace, and textured hair. A securing screw is located at the back of the neck and the base plate is present.
