A Collection of Painted Cast Iron Black Americana Mammy Figurines - Attributed to manufacturers such as Hubley, this collection of painted cast iron figurines represents mid-20th century Black Americana. The assortment includes still coin banks featuring horizontal slots on the upper reverse and solid decorative figures. Each piece is constructed from two cast halves joined by a single slotted screw. The figures are depicted in a standing pose with hands on hips, wearing red headscarves, red bodices with white collars, and white aprons. No factory marks, model numbers, or decorator symbols are visible on the bases or bodies. Height: 4 inches. Pickup is Wednesday, April 22 from 10 am to 3 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
