A Collection of Vintage and Antique Black Americana Dolls - A collection of Black Americana dolls featuring various construction methods including cloth, molded, and printed examples. The group includes a character doll with a molded head and limbs, fixed brown inset eyes, and a soft cloth body, dressed in a black long-sleeved top and skirt with a white apron and cuffs. A pair of cloth dolls features embroidered facial features and black yarn hair, dressed in matching red and white gingham outfits. A primitive cloth doll is constructed with a flat, circular head and a printed or lithographed face, wearing an oversized white cotton gown with pleated shoulder details. Also included is a cloth doll with embroidered eyes and looped yarn hair, wearing a colorful floral print skirt and green apron.
