A Collection of F. & F. Mold & Die Works Aunt Jemima and Uncle Mose Advertising Kitchenware - This collection of mid-20th-century advertising premiums was manufactured by F. & F. Mold & Die Works in Dayton, Ohio, for the Quaker Oats Company. The items are constructed of molded hard plastic with cold-painted details. The collection includes two syrup pitchers designed as the Aunt Jemima character with hinged heads and integral handles. The set also contains twelve large shakers and four small shakers modeled as Aunt Jemima and Uncle Mose figures. Additionally, there are two yellow plastic measuring cups with character figures attached as handles. The underside of the figures features an embossed mark within a scroll-edged frame reading F. & F. MOLD & DIE WORKS, DAYTON, OHIO, with MADE IN U.S.A. printed below. The lower backs of the figures are embossed with the names AUNT JEMIMA or UNCLE MOSE. Large shakers: approximately 5.25 inches tall Small shakers: approximately 3.5 inches tall. Pickup is Wednesday, April 22 from 10 am to 3 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
