Two Advertising and Cultural Collectibles Including Kmc Figural Wall Clock and Cream of Wheat Thermometer - This lot comprises two late 20th-century decorative items with advertising and cultural themes. The first item is a figural wall clock manufactured by Kmc, constructed from molded polychrome resin. The figure is depicted in a domestic role, wearing a red dress with white ruffled trim, a matching headscarf, and red high-heeled shoes with yellow floral accents. The figure holds a plate of food in one hand and a silver-toned fork in the other. A circular clock face with Arabic numerals and the Kmc logo is set into the torso, featuring a battery-operated quartz movement. The second item is a vertical wall-mounted thermometer for Cream of Wheat. It features a wood base with a printed face and a glass thermometer tube. The graphics include vintage-style illustrations of the company chef character and a child at a table, accompanied by the slogan The Most Dainty BREAKFAST FOOD Ever Made. The reverse of the thermometer is marked with a black ink stamp identifying it as a licensed product of Nabisco Brands, Inc., with a copyright date from the 1980s.
