Vintage Advertising and Household Items Featuring Black Americana Graphics - This lot consists of mid-20th-century advertising and household collectibles. Included are two cardboard Cream of Wheat cereal boxes; one larger box from the Cream of Wheat Co., Minneapolis, and one smaller box from The Cream of Wheat Corp., Minneapolis 13, Minn., featuring a 15 cent price mark. Two wooden wall-hanging grocery reminder boards are present: a rectangular board titled We Needs? with a New York City script and twenty listed staples, and a shaped board titled I Need in red cursive with thirty listed items. The collection features a 12 fluid ounce cylindrical tin for Longwood Plantation's Pure Cane Syrup from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with a printed paper label. Also included are a hand-painted wall-mounted ceramic or chalkware string holder in the form of a chef's head, a cream-colored ceramic Aunt Jemima creamer with a red registered trademark logo, and a cast brass hand bell with a turned wooden handle.
