A Trio of Vintage Aunt Jemima Mammy Cast Iron Still Banks - This trio of vintage cast iron still banks is modeled in the form of the Aunt Jemima or Mammy figure. Each figure is depicted in a standing pose with hands on hips. The banks are constructed of two cast iron halves joined by a single flat-head screw located in the center of the back. A horizontal coin slot is positioned on the reverse side just above the waistline. The figures feature a cold-painted finish consisting of a red blouse, a white shawl tied at the front, a full white apron, and a red headwrap decorated with white polka dots. No maker marks or factory stamps are visible on the bases or bodies of the items. These items are in the style of early 20th-century American cast iron banks. Height: 8 inches. Pickup is Wednesday, April 22 from 10 am to 3 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
