Vintage Mid-Century Novelty and Souvenir Dolls - vintage dolls includes various figures constructed from composition, hard plastic, and bisque. The figures are designed in novelty and souvenir styles typical of the mid-20th century. Construction features include jointed limbs at the shoulders and hips for most dolls. Facial features are characterized by fixed painted eyes, including several with side-glancing expressions. Hair treatments vary across the group, featuring molded hair, a black synthetic or mohair wig with an orange ribbon, and small yarn or fiber tufts arranged as pigtails. One figure includes a blonde fiber or felt cap headdress. Clothing and accessories include a multi-colored fiber grass skirt, a faux-fur skirt with bead necklaces and anklets, a metal hoop earring, and cream-colored cloth wraps secured with safety pins. One doll features painted-on white socks and red-trimmed shoes, while two figures are undressed. No maker marks or factory stamps are visible on the items. Height: 1.5 inches to 6.5 inches.
