A Collection of Vintage Black Americana Folk Art Dolls and Wooden Figures - This collection consists of several vintage folk art items, primarily constructed from painted wood and cloth, depicting figures in the Black Americana style. The assortment includes a hand-crafted cloth doll with a stuffed, painted fabric head and a fixed bonnet. The doll is dressed in an original floral-patterned cotton dress featuring white rickrack trim and a matching bonnet. Also included is a pair of flat-cut painted plywood figures with rope-jointed dancing legs and black yarn hair, featuring hand-painted clothing in red polka-dot and blue overall patterns. A carved wooden limberjack-style figure is present, featuring hinged arms and legs designed for movement, with tufted fiber hair and painted stationary eyes. The collection further includes three decorative wood cutouts: a watermelon motif wall hanging with black yarn pigtails tied with red ribbons, a Mammy-style wall hanging with a metal sawtooth hanger on the reverse, and a small painted figure magnet.
