Christopher Paluso The Negro Leagues Multi-Signed Limited Edition Lithograph 852/1000 - A framed limited edition lithograph titled The Negro Leagues, created by artist Christopher Paluso in 1996. The artwork features a collage of historical Negro League imagery, including portraits of Satchel Paige, a Newark Eagles team bus and pennant, a Kansas City Monarchs advertisement, and various vintage baseball equipment. The piece is hand-signed in various inks by six Negro League players: Monte Irvin, Mamie Peanut Johnson, Robert Scott, Armando Vazquez, Jim Robinson, and Pee Wee Jenkins. The lithograph also includes printed facsimile signatures for Satchel Paige and John Buck O'Neil as part of the artwork. It is hand-numbered 852/1000 in the lower-left corner and bears the printed artist signature and date Christopher Paluso 1996 in the lower right. Printed copyright text along the bottom margin attributes the work to Classic Images/Kansas City, Paige Enterprises under license by CMG Worldwide Inc., and the Negro League Baseball Museum. The item is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from Savoia’s Auction Inc. of Cairo, New York, which lists all six hand-signed names.
