1851 American Bible Society New Testament in Wallet Style Binding - This 1851 edition of The New Testament was published by the American Bible Society in New York. The volume is an Agate 32mo pocket size, bound in a red leather wallet-style wrap-around cover featuring a tuck-in closure tab. The pages feature gilt edges. The interior endpapers contain several handwritten ink inscriptions. One inscription reads Jennie Dresser From her mother M. A. Simons. Jan. 1, 1853. Another reads M. A. Simons From her cousin M. C. Holley. Jany 1st 1853. A third inscription indicates the volume was part of the Galesburg Sunday School Library for Sedmen No. 28. 83. Width: 4.5 inches Burns in-house shipping is available.
