A Trio of Decorative and Religious Items Including a Mother of God of Vladimir Icon - A trio of decorative and religious objects comprising a framed Orthodox icon, a carved stone figurine, and a molded lidded box. The icon depicts the Mother of God of Vladimir in a traditional Byzantine style, featuring an embossed gold-toned foil oklad with Church Slavonic inscriptions. It is presented in a simple gilt frame. The figurine depicts a laughing Buddha carved from a yellow-hued stone, resting on a dark, carved wooden base. The molded lidded box features an Art Deco-style stepped design on the sides and is decorated with the Shriners fraternal emblem, consisting of a crescent moon, star, and scimitar, on the lid. A partial vintage adhesive label from Owensboro, KY, is visible on one side of the box.
