A Collection of Antique and Vintage Copper Kitchenware including a Large Wash Boiler - This collection features a variety of copper vessels and kitchen implements. The primary piece is a large oval copper wash boiler equipped with a fitted lid and turned wooden handles on the lid and sides. The interior of the boiler is tinned. The group includes copper kettles with wooden grips, one of which bears the stamped mark O.P. MUURIKKA MADE IN FINLAND on the underside. Also present is a tall copper pitcher with a swing handle, a small hammered copper pot supported by a three-footed wrought-iron stand, and a copper saucepan with a long riveted wrought-iron handle. The assortment is completed by a Turkish-style coffee pot and a rectangular wooden riser. Construction methods include riveting and hammered metalwork.
