Van Briggle Ming Turquoise Foliate Vase - A Van Briggle Art Pottery earthenware vase featuring a squat, bulbous body and a short, flared neck. The exterior is decorated with a molded low-relief stylized foliate or leaf pattern encircling the vessel. It is finished in the factory's signature matte Ming Turquoise glaze, displaying characteristic tonal variations. The base is hand-incised with the manufacturer's marks: ”VAN BRIGGLE / Colo. Spgs. Co”, the ”AA” logo within a square, and the finisher's initials ”VR”. Approximately 3.75 inches in height. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Thursday, April 30 from 11 am to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
