Van Briggle Art Pottery Art Nouveau Stylized Leaf Bowl - An American Art Pottery bowl of globular form produced by Van Briggle Art Pottery of Colorado Springs, Colorado. The piece features a molded relief design of stylized, overlapping leaves in the Art Nouveau taste, terminating in an undulating rim. It is finished in a characteristic two-tone matte glaze, featuring a dusty rose base with blue-lavender highlights accentuating the raised decoration. The unglazed base is incised with the Van Briggle AA mark within a square, the hand-written inscription Van Briggle Colo. Spgs., and three small blue vertical dashes representing a finisher mark. Approximately 4.75 inches in diameter. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Thursday, April 30 from 11 am to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
