Roseville Poppy Art Pottery Double-Handled Vase - Produced by Roseville Pottery, this earthenware art pottery vase is decorated in the Poppy pattern, first introduced in 1938. The vessel features a bulbous body with a flared, scalloped rim and two stylized scroll-form handles at the shoulder. The relief-molded decoration depicts large poppy blossoms and buds on trailing stems, finished in a blended matte glaze of teal green, seafoam, and cream with yellow highlights. The base is marked with the impressed script Roseville U.S.A. and the model number 868-7. Various inventory notations in grease pencil are present on the underside. Approximately 7 inches in height. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Thursday, April 30 from 11 am to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
