Art Deco Style Reticulated Art Pottery Amphora Vase - This art pottery vase is designed in a robust amphora form, featuring twin integrated handles extending from the shoulder to the upper body. The vessel is characterized by a flared, reticulated rim and a matching flared, reticulated pedestal base. The exterior is finished in a mottled, matte terracotta or ochre-toned glaze with white stippling throughout, creating a textured ”orange peel” effect. The reticulated sections at the neck and base are further decorated with hand-applied highlights in shades of sage green and pale yellow. The interior of the vase and the underside of the base are finished in a smooth, translucent yellowish-tan glaze. This specific form and decorative treatment are attributed to the ”Ferella” line produced by Roseville Pottery, circa 1930. No factory marks or artist signatures are visible on the underside of the base. Approximately 11.5 – 12 inches in height. Burns in-house shipping is available.
