American Art Pottery USA Ivy Relief Hanging Planter - A mid-20th-century American art pottery hanging planter crafted from glazed earthenware. The vessel features a bulbous, globular body with a short, flared rim. The rim is pierced with three evenly spaced holes designed to accommodate a wire or chain hanger. The exterior is decorated with an embossed ivy leaf relief motif. The piece is finished in a matte ochre or butterscotch orange glaze, with the recessed areas of the foliate design highlighted in a darker brown tone to provide visual depth. An impressed ”USA” mark is located on the upper shoulder of the body. Approximately 5.5 inches in diameter and 4 inches in height. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Thursday, April 30 from 11 am to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
