Three Pieces of Roseville Ming Tree Pattern Art Pottery - A collection of three pieces of mid-century American art pottery produced by the Roseville Pottery Company in the Ming Tree pattern, introduced circa 1949. The lot consists of one large boat-shaped centerpiece bowl and two smaller handled vessels. Each piece is crafted from molded ceramic featuring a vibrant turquoise glaze with relief-molded decoration of stylized bonsai trees. The trees are rendered with textured pink blossoms and gnarled brown branches that transition into integrated handles. The undersides of the vessels bear the embossed marks Roseville U.S.A. along with pattern numbers 278-10 and 281-6. This pattern represents the late period of Roseville production and reflects the mid-century modern interest in Japonisme and Asian-inspired motifs. The largest vessel measures approximately 15 inches in length. The smaller vessels measure approximately 9 inches in length. Burns in-house shipping is available.
