Bidspirit auction | Pair of Roseville Ming Tree

Pair of Roseville Ming Tree Blue Art Pottery Basket Vases, No. 369-12 - A pair of Roseville Pottery basket vases in the Ming Tree pattern, first introduced in 1949. These molded ceramic pieces feature a sky blue body decorated with relief-molded stylized white blossoms on gnarled brown branches. The branches extend from the body to form a large, rustic overarching handle with a textured, wood-like finish. The interior of each vessel is finished in a contrasting pale yellow glaze. The underside of each piece bears the raised signature Roseville U.S.A. 369-12. This pattern reflects the aesthetic transition of the late Roseville period toward Mid-Century Modern design. Each measures approximately 12 inches in height. Burns in-house shipping is available.
