Weller Hudson Hand-Painted Floral Earthenware Vase - This professional American art pottery vase is produced by Weller Pottery in the Hudson line. The tapered ovoid earthenware form features a vibrant, mottled cobalt blue ground. The decoration consists of hand-painted underglaze pansies in shades of rose, yellow, and violet with green leaves. A prominent multi-colored horizontal band in shades of pink, yellow, and brown accents the midsection, bordered by dark pinstripes. The vessel is finished with a semi-matte glaze. The underside bears a large, impressed block WELLER mark. Dimensions: Approximately 8 inches in height. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Thursday, April 30 from 11 am to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
