A Pair of Rookwood Pottery Monochromatic Glaze Vases - This lot features two examples of American Art Pottery from the Rookwood Pottery Company, both dating to 1931. The first piece is an earthenware vase with a tapered ovoid body, a short flared neck, and a circular foot, finished in a monochromatic peach gloss glaze. The base is impressed with the Rookwood RP logo with 14 flames, the Roman numeral XXXI, and mold number 6193 C. The second piece is an earthenware bud vase featuring a bulbous lobed base and a long squared neck, finished in a solid yellow matte glaze. The base is impressed with the Rookwood RP logo with 14 flames, the Roman numeral XXXI, and mold number 6117. Peach vase: 6.5 inches height. Yellow vase: 5.5 inches height. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Thursday, April 30 from 11 am to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
