** Simson and Co. Model 1926/27 Semi-Automatic Pistol 6.35mm with 2.25 Inch Barrel 1926/27 - This is a single Simson and Co. Model 1926/27 semi-automatic vest pocket pistol chambered in 6.35mm, also known as .25 ACP. This compact firearm is equipped with a 2 1/4-inch barrel and features a top-mounted integral fixed sight system. The metal surfaces display a worn appearance with a mottled gray and brown patina, showing signs of a thinning original blued finish alongside scattered light pitting and surface oxidation. The pistol is fitted with black checkered hard rubber grip panels that prominently display the Simson name in script. Verbatim markings include WAFFENFABRIKEN SIMSON and CO. SUHL on the left side of the slide accompanied by a crown over N nitro proof mark. The right side of the slide is marked SELBSTLADEPISTOLE SIMSON D.R.P. which indicates the German Reich Patent. The serial number 30494 is stamped into the metal on the front strap of the grip frame. The pistol features a heel-style magazine release and includes one detachable magazine.
