Restored Tokheim Model 300 Texaco Gas Pump - This is a restored Tokheim Model 300, Type P standing gas pump finished in a two-tone red and white Texaco livery. The unit features a steel body with a high-gloss painted finish and polished metal trim. A circular globe sits at the top, displaying the Texaco T logo with a red star and green T on a white background; the bottom edge of the globe face is marked September 1962. The main body includes a white front panel with a recessed black and white Regular sign and a circular Texaco decal on the lower portion. A chrome trim strip embossed with the Tokheim name runs across the top of the white panel. The side of the pump retains a white enameled lead warning plate that reads FOR USE AS A MOTOR FUEL ONLY CONTAINS LEAD (TETRAETHYL). The mechanical computer face is white with black text and displays numerical values for the sale price, gallons, and price including tax, which is set at 46 8/10. The meter face also features the red Tokheim logo and registration number 2-405535. A sight glass is located on the side within an embossed metal frame reading GLASS MUST BE FULL BEFORE AND AFTER DELIVERY. The pump is equipped with a black rubber hose and a vintage cast metal OPW nozzle.
