An Assortment of Bennett Model 966 Gas Pump Panels and Sinclair H-C Components - This lot features a collection of vintage gas pump exterior panels and decorative components for a Bennett Model 966 pump, associated with the Sinclair H-C brand. The assembly consists of side panels, door panels, and a box of various trim and signage parts. One side panel retains its original manufacturer's identification plate from the Bennett Pump Division of the John Wood Company, Muskegon, Michigan, U.S.A. The plate identifies the unit as Model 966, Specification No. 966, Code 1000 125 RZ, Serial No. 2 B 1684. An accompanying Underwriters' Laboratories inspection plate is also present, marked No. B- 343134. Two rectangular signs are attached to the side panels, reading For Use As A Motor Fuel Only Contains Lead (Tetraethyl). A Sinclair H-C pump face insert is included, along with a partial High Compression decal on one door panel. The box of loose components contains a group of chrome-plated metal window frames, a circular metal gasket, and a small chrome-finished winged emblem. An interior patent and instruction decal is located on the inside of a panel, displaying patent dates from 1937. Height: 54.5 inches Width at base: 17.5 inches. Burns in-house shipping is available.
