A Pair of 1928 Ohio Passenger Vehicle License Plates - A matched pair of vintage 1928 Ohio passenger vehicle license plates. These embossed metal plates feature the registration number 127-a group of across the center, with OHIO-1928 embossed at the bottom. Originally issued with cream-colored characters on a chocolate brown background, the paint has aged significantly. Each plate includes standard horizontal mounting slots at the top and circular holes at the corners. The two plates are currently joined by wire loops through the side mounting holes. The reverse side of the metal shows a greenish-gray patina and significant oxidation typical of aged steel. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Thursday, May 28 from 11 am to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
