A Pair of 1927 Ohio Passenger Vehicle License Plates - This is a matched pair of vintage motor vehicle registration plates issued by the state of Ohio in 1927. The plates are constructed of stamped metal with a grey painted background and embossed black characters. Each plate displays the alphanumeric registration A96-a group of across the center. The bottom of each plate features the embossed inscription OHIO-1927. The design includes horizontal mounting slots at the top and two circular mounting holes at the bottom corners. Currently, the pair is held together by small segments of wire passing through the mounting holes. The reverse of each plate shows the mirrored indentation of the embossed characters and a consistent grey painted finish. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Thursday, May 28 from 11 am to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
