A Pair of 1924 Ohio Stamped Steel License Plates - This lot consists of a matching pair of original embossed steel automobile license plates from the state of Ohio, dated 1924. The plates feature a dark blue background with raised, white-painted alphanumeric characters. The registration number is preceded by a five-pointed star and reads a group of. Embossed along the bottom margin is the state name and year, OHIO-1924. The plates are currently joined by wire through the mounting holes. The reverse sides show the corresponding recessed impressions from the stamping process. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Thursday, May 28 from 11 am to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
