Pair of Vintage Ohio Metal License Plates, 1945 and 1946, Registration 27·NR - A pair of vintage embossed metal vehicle registration plates issued by the State of Ohio. This set features consecutive years, 1945 and 1946, both sharing the matching low registration number 27·NR. The 1945 plate consists of black embossed characters and a border on a white background, with the bottom margin embossed OHIO - 1945. The 1946 plate features red embossed characters and a border on a cream-colored background, with the bottom margin embossed OHIO - 1946. The NR alpha suffix indicates these plates were originally issued in Franklin County (Columbus). The reverse of each plate displays the stamped impressions from the embossing process. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Thursday, May 28 from 11 am to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
