A Pair of 1919 Ohio Embossed Metal License Plates - A matched pair of passenger vehicle registration plates issued by the state of Ohio for the year 1919. These plates are constructed from embossed steel and feature a deep red background with white painted lettering. The registration number 337152 is embossed in large numerals across the center and right side of the plate. Positioned to the left of the main number is a circular seal containing a stylized H, which served as the official emblem for the state highway department during this period. The year 1919 is embossed directly beneath this seal. Each plate is designed with a group of mounting points, consisting of elongated horizontal slots at the top and two circular holes at the bottom corners. The reverse side of the plates is finished in red paint and displays the negative embossing of the registration data. 14 x 6 inches. Burns in-house shipping is available.
