1938 Ohio Commemorative Northwest Territory Sesquicentennial License Plate - A vintage 1938 Ohio state-issued license plate produced to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Northwest Territory. The plate features a white painted background with black embossed registration characters and decorative elements. The main registration number is UJ · 479. The lower margin is inscribed with a group of ANNIV · N · W · TERR · to the left and OHIO-38 to the right. A central silhouette graphic depicts an ox-drawn covered wagon. This specialty plate was issued as part of the regional celebration of the Northwest Ordinance of 1787 and the founding of Marietta, Ohio, in 1788. The plate is constructed of die-stamped metal and includes a group of circular mounting holes. Dimensions: 12” x 6”. Burns in-house shipping is available.
