Vintage 1937 Ohio Embossed Steel License Plate L-9-Y - A vintage automotive registration plate from the state of Ohio, dated 1937. The plate is constructed from embossed steel and features the registration sequence L-9-Y. The characters are separated by two raised circular separator dots. The bottom margin is embossed with the text OHIO-1937. The reverse side of the plate displays the mirrored indentations from the stamping process and retains sections of the original cream-colored paint. The plate is rectangular with rounded corners and features a group of original circular mounting holes, one located in each corner. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Thursday, May 28 from 11 am to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
