Vintage Tom's Toasted Peanuts Glass Countertop Display Jar - A vintage Tom's Toasted Peanuts countertop display jar, manufactured from clear glass with a matching glass lid. The cylindrical jar features red silkscreened advertising graphics on the front. At the top, the word Delicious is written in script. The central logo features the Tom's brand name in stylized script enclosed within a rounded triangular border. Below this, the text TOASTED PEANUTS is printed in large block capitals, with AN AMERICAN TRADITION in smaller block capitals underneath. Fine print at the bottom edge states Prop. TOM'S Distbr. And Not to be sold. The clear glass lid is topped with a red textured knob that is embossed with the name Tom's. This type of jar was traditionally used for retail displays in general stores or pharmacies. Height: 9.25 inches. Burns in-house shipping is available.
