A collection of Vintage Tobacciana and Regional Ohio Advertising Ephemera - This lot features an assortment of vintage smoking-related collectibles and regional advertising items, primarily centered around Gallipolis, Ohio. The collection includes a Lucky Strike Cigarettes rectangular tin lithograph sign featuring the red bullseye logo and the slogan It is Toasted. Also included is a Kool Cigarettes green-painted metal counter-top cigarette pack dispenser with the Kool logo and the slogan Taste Extra Coolness. A large white ceramic ashtray features a fluted rim and central graphics of Kent cigarette packs. The base of the ceramic ashtray is marked with a black backstamp reading Made in U.S.A. The lot further contains glass advertising ashtrays: one clear glass ashtray for WJEH 990 AM FM 101.A group of Gallipolis, Ohio; one clear glass ashtray with an orange logo for the Komet Hockey Club; and one clear fluted glass ashtray for Gilkey’s Queen Bee Hotel Restaurant and Tavern in Gallipolis, Ohio. An extensive collection of vintage matchbooks is present, advertising various national and local businesses such as Sohio, Kmart, Best Western, Holiday Inn, Bob Evans, and the Dillon Real Estate Agency. Additional ephemera includes commemorative cards or magnets for the 41st and 44th Annual Gallipolis Car Shows dated 2019 and 2022, and a card for the Buckeye Hills Center Car Show.
