An Assortment of Vintage Toys and Advertising Memorabilia Including National Games Inc. and Mattel - This collection features a diverse variety of mid-to-late 20th-century toys, character figures, and advertising ephemera. Included is an Animal Croquet game set by National Games, Inc. (No. 5011), constructed of lithographed cardboard animal-shaped wickets with wooden mallets and a ball. A Mattel V-Rroom! Plastic bicycle engine is present, finished in silver and black with pink and silver decals featuring the Mattel crown logo. The group includes a boxed Giant PEZ Candy Roll Dispenser with a clown head, indicated as standing over 12.5 inches tall. Four Kenner projector film strips dated 1974 feature Hanna-Barbera characters including Hong Kong Phooey and Speed Buggy. Advertising memorabilia is represented by a large vinyl Bob's Big Boy mascot figure and a corresponding bobblehead on a base. An M&M character figure in a red convertible car is marked Galerie and dated 2002 on the base. Character figures include plastic or vinyl depictions of Donald Duck, Popeye, and Olive Oyl. A vintage plastic Batman and Robin cup and a novelty Donald Duck orange juice carton prop are also included. The collection features a wide range of vintage-style confectionery packaging, such as wax Nik-L-Nip bottles, Dubble Bubble gum boxes, Necco Wafers, Sky Bar, Turkish Taffy, and various parody candy cigarette and gum packs including Stallion and Lucky Lights brands. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Thursday, May 28 from 11 am to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
