A collection of Vintage Aladdin Industries Tin Lunchboxes and Seven Thermoses - This lot consists of a collection of vintage lithographed tin lunchboxes and a group of matching thermoses, primarily produced by Aladdin Industries Incorporated of Nashville, Tennessee. The collection features a variety of themes based on popular American television programs and characters from the 1950s and early 1960s. Included are character-themed sets featuring Paladin from Have Gun Will Travel (1960), The Flintstones and Dino (1962), The Rifleman (1960), Quick Draw McGraw and Friends (1961), and Hopalong Cassidy (1950). The collection also contains multiple designs for the western series Bonanza, including a 1963 equestrian-themed version with a green border and a pink-toned street scene version. Additional individual lunchboxes without matching thermoses include themes for Lassie, The Lone Ranger, and Howdy Doody, along with a classic red and orange tartan plaid design. The lunchboxes are constructed of lithographed steel with metal latches and plastic handles. The associated thermoses feature plastic caps in various colors including red, black, and yellow. Visible manufacturer markings include Aladdin Industries Incorporated, along with copyright dates and studio credits for NBC, Hanna-Barbera Productions, CBS Inc., and Four Star-Sussex Productions.
