The set is noted for its diverse design elements, including portrait cards within circular frames and traditional full-color photography. Highlighting the collection are Hall of Fame members Richie Ashburn (number 300), Robin Roberts (number 461), and Red Schoendienst (number 468). The lot also contains several star players and significant numbers such as Ken Boyer (number 150), Don Zimmer (number 166), Don Newcombe (number 260), Larry Jackson (number 295), Gil McDougald (number 310), Sal Maglie (number 444), John Roseboro (number 457), Vern Law (number 15), and Rocky Nelson (number 116). Included are All-Star Selection inserts for Jackie Jensen (number 450), Bob Friend (number 464), and Ed Bailey (number 466), along with The Sporting News Rookie Stars featuring Jim McDaniel (number 474), George Witt (number 472), Johnny Briggs (number 471), and Eddie Haas (number 341). Team cards for the Philadelphia Phillies (number 344) and Chicago White Sox (number 331) are also part of this assortment. Many individual cards are housed in protective penny sleeves.
