A Group of Heidelberg Raceway and Sports Arena Official Speedway Auto Race Programs - A group of vintage paper programs for the Heidelberg Raceway and Sports Arena, dated 1948. These items are titled Official Program Speedway Auto Races and feature a black and white cover illustration of a racing car with a checkered flag. Sanctioned by the Central States Racing Association (CSRA), the programs include rosters of Championship Auto Races drivers, event schedules, and contemporary advertisements for companies such as Coca-Cola and Earl N. Jamison Chrysler and Plymouth. Interior pages feature photographs of racing officials and drivers including David J. Wright and Henry F. Miller. Each program contains contemporary handwritten annotations in pen and pencil recording race results, driver names, and dates including June 27 and July 25, 1948. Approximately 9 inches by 6 inches. Pickup is Wednesday, April 22 from 10 am to 3 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
