A Pair of 1948 Heidelberg Raceway Official Midget Auto Race Programs - This pair of original 1948 Official Program booklets was produced for midget auto racing events held at the Heidelberg Raceway and Sports Arena. The programs feature paper covers in tan and light grey, each displaying a stylized graphic of a midget race car against a checkered flag background with the Central States Racing Association (CSRA) sanctioning logo. The interior pages contain printed grids for race events, which have been extensively filled with contemporary handwritten annotations in pencil and ink. These notations record specific historical data including driver names, car makes, lap times, and final placements for heats and feature races. The back covers feature local advertisements for the Playtime Equipment Corporation of Mars, Pennsylvania, and the Reno Electric Company of Ambridge, Pennsylvania. Height: 9 inches.
