A 1949 New Bremen Speedway Official Program and Racing Results Postcard - This collection of vintage auto racing ephemera from the New Bremen Speedway in New Bremen, Ohio, includes an original Official Speedway Program for auto races held on Sunday, July 24, 1949. Sanctioned by the Central States Racing Association (C.S.R.A.), the program is printed on light blue paper with black text. The publication features advertisements for local businesses such as The American Budget Co., Wint's Restaurant, and Botkins Motor Sales, as well as a guide to racing flag signals and a glossary of race track slang. The interior Time Trials section contains extensive handwritten entries in pencil, recording car numbers, driver names including Bob Carpenter, and finish times. Also included is a postcard with a Smiths' Racing Photos footer from Columbus, Ohio, containing further handwritten race results for feature events and semi-finals, noting drivers such as D.
