1960 Columbus Motor Speedway USAC Midget Racing Program - An official racing program for Columbus Motor Speedway, identified as Volume 8 and dated June 24, 1960, by a handwritten inscription on the front cover. The program documents USAC Midget racing at the one-third-mile blacktop track in Ohio. Interior contents include an aerial photograph of the venue, a racing flag key, a list of track officials, and event scorecards. Most of the scorecards have been filled in by hand in pencil and pen, recording driver names and race winners such as Shorty Templeman, Gene Force, LeRoy Warriner, and Chuck Rodey. The program is interspersed with numerous vintage advertisements for national brands like Coca-Cola and local Columbus businesses, including Jack Schmidt Oldsmobile, Sinclair products, and various service stations.
