Several Joie Chitwood's World's Champion Auto Daredevils Stunt Show Tickets, 1949 - vintage automotive stunt show tickets for Joie Chitwood's World's Champion Auto Daredevils, advertising a performance at Powell Speedway in Powell, Ohio, on Sunday, May 15, 1949. The tickets are constructed of yellow cardstock and feature bold black and red graphic printing. The design includes illustrations of stunt cars, an elephant mascot, and skull and crossbones motifs with the text Death Stalks the Arena!. Prominent text indicates the use of New 1949 Ford Cars and an admission price of cents. The reverse sides of the tickets contain extensive handwritten pencil notations appearing to be technical logs related to photography, including aperture settings, negative numbers, and development times. 7 inches wide.
